Desserts are lacking. The steak was ok, the asparagus was woody. My favorites were the beets with goat cheese and the crab cake brushetta.
This is a great place to go and have high-end food for a reasonable Greenwood price. The food is clearly careful prepared. The chef and kitchen staff know what they are doing. The building inside is unique. If gave me vibes of both a bar and a restaurant in Europe. The waiting staff were very nice and relatable. The food came in great portions. I was not able to try the dessert menu, but a friend was and said that the banana cup was very good. I had the duck and loved the taste and presentation of the meal.
This is probably the best meal I've had thus far out of the 18 restaurants I've tried this year. Our server, Ava, was great. She was very informative and accommodating since we couldn't make up our minds of what we wanted. We wanted to try everything. This bodes well for the restaurant to have so many mouth-watering things on the menu. We ordered the pork tenderloin, pork chop, fried oyster appetizer (special of the evening), foie gras appetizer, and a dessert (I apologize I forgot the name, but it was a banana dessert). Everything was amazing; especially, the two appetizers. Beautifully cooked and the combination of flavors just melds so well together. Although this place is a little out of the way for us, we'll have to put it in rotation.
Wonderful Meal! I reserved for my husband’s birthday and we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. We sampled the menu: shrimp appetizer, salads, steaks, vegies, and desserts. Everything was top notch! So delicious! The service was also fantastic! Even the chef came to the table! We will be back! Thank you!!
Last night was a great first impression. I had Julia as a server and she was so nice! The food is really good and decently sized. I had the fried cheese curds and the Revery burger and normally I’m not a huge burger guy but I was surprised. Juicy, thick, and I probably would have switched the fries for more cheese curds. The aesthetic is very warm and I recommend coming after 7:30.
The experience was amazing. I couldn’t believe how fancy the place was. We walked in from the back Patio which leads into the bar. And I could already tell that it was gonna be a good experience based on the other reviews I knew it was gonna be the perfect dinner. We sat down at a table. It took no time at all. She came up right away to get are drinks. then we order for an appetizer we got the cheese curds. They’re really good and I would have them every time I would go if I went more than once this is my first time by the Way I ordered the fillet It comes with it comes with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and some Garlic butter When it got to our table, my mouth was drooling. I took the first bite of the steak. It was so juicy and a perfect medium rare. The mashed potatoes were really good. I love my good mashed potatoes. I didn’t really eat the asparagus it’s not because I don’t like it. I just was focusing on how good the steak was a little bit later she gives us the dessert menu. We didn’t really see anything appetizing to us but amazing service and atmosphere. I’ve seen the other reviews that are one star two star and three star. They’re all just complaints that they’re just trying to make the place look bad like this one three star review that’s talking about how the city water is bad not a valid reason complain about the actual restaurant. I mean it’s water. You’re complaining about get over it but really don’t let one experience ruin Your other experiences. You never know if the server had a bad day.(sorry to the server that serve to us that I forgot your name. I don’t even know where to begin because this diner has completely redefined what I thought was possible when it comes to flavor. Hands down, this is the best tasting food I have EVER had in my life. I’ve eaten at fancy restaurants, popular chains, and hidden gems, but nothing—and I mean nothing—comes close to what this place delivers. Every bite was an explosion of perfectly balanced seasoning, freshness, and soul. You can taste the passion in the cooking. It’s like the food was handcrafted just for me. The depth of flavor is so rich and layered, I found myself literally closing my eyes to savor every mouthful. The beets, cheese curds,and rev salad, was out of this world—crispy, juicy, buttery, tender, everything you could ever dream of in one plate. Even the sides and sauces had me scraping the plate. The flavor wasn’t just good—it was life-changing. The pork chop was perfect, absolutely perfect. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This diner deserves awards. I will be back again and again—and I’ll be bringing everyone I know. If you're craving something that tastes like it was made in food heaven, run, don’t walk.
We have been here a few times now, and each time has been as good or better each time. The staff is top notch. James the GM. Talia and Julia bartenders and server Nadia have always been super great. The food is out of this world. Everything from the burger to the Filet is so delicious. Definitely one of our best favorite places.
10/10 highly recommend to anyone wanting an elevated dining experience with an incredible atmosphere. We dined at the back bar and it was peaceful, quiet but had a fantastic experience. It was a Saturday night, so reservations are highly recommended, but getting in at the bar was a non-issue. We ordered the short rib and the pork shank - both incredibly delicious. We also ordered two of the cocktails and would highly recommend the apple crisp cocktail. We ordered the beets as an appetizer and have never been more impressed with beets!
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants. The chef knows how to pair flavors! This probably our 5th or 6th time here. We go on special occasions due to the cost. However, it is always worth the effort and money. I definitely recommend getting reservations as it books up fast. The menu is not very large and does fluctuate sometimes. But if you’re looking for 5 star restaurant quality this is the best option around. It can be a little loud at times, as they do have a bar area in the rear. However it’s never been too loud for us. You won’t be disappointed here!
